The Viaduct lies some two and a half miles south west of the Devon market town of Okehampton. Okehampton can be reached by train from Exeter on summer Sundays and by Bus from Exeter or Bude (service numbers X9 and X10) and from Plymouth or Barnstaple Service number 86.

From Okehampton Town Centre turn south along George Street and take Station Road (signposted to Okehampton Station). Just before the bridge turn right (west) along the waymarked footpath/cycleway for 2 miles to the Viaduct.
